We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented purchasing assistant to join our team. As a purchasing assistant, you will be responsible for ordering and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

Complete tasks on a daily schedule and/or as needed..

Examine the procurement volumes recommended by the ERP system and, if necessary, adjust them to take into account the ideal inventory level, input costs, consolidation and minimum purchase volume.

Entering orders to suppliers.

If necessary, make corrections to the orders and the database so that they match the supplier's product data.

Contact suppliers in case of unconfirmed or overdue orders and speed up work with suppliers.

Update the promised purchase orders and the expected dates determined based on the acceleration.

Maintaining the supplier's contact information in the ERP.

Inventory responsibilities:

Investigate inventory discrepancies by identifying the source and necessary corrective actions.

Identify the non-moving items in the warehouse and change the system settings to stop future purchases.

Determine the movement of goods that are not in stock and change the system settings so that the product is in stock.

Update the ERP by reporting increases/changes in supplier prices as they are received.

If necessary, help the team with the inventory.

Qualification:

Secondary education or equivalent education.

Work experience in the field of procurement and/or data entry is desirable.

Good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
